The primary mission of the Maison Idiart domaines is to produce distinctive and quality wines from different viticulture regions in France, and around the world, in order to offer a wide range of terroir expressive wines.
Nicolas Idiart is the winemaker and founder of Maison Idiart. Nicolas’ family is from the Loire Valley and his passion for these wines brought him to work in Chinon, Touraine, and Muscadet. Nicolas then left to work in different aspects of the wine industry in Australia, New Zealand and North America. After several years he decided to go back to his roots in winemaking in France.
Today, Nicolas works with small growers in several French wine regions, laboring together to meet the demands of a global wine marketplace.
